We are pleased to inform you of the patch details to be implemented after the

scheduled maintenance on April 24, 2025

■ Dekaron Sound Library Upgrade

To improve stability and address potential risks during gameplay, the outdated sound library responsible for in-game audio

(such as BGM and skill effects) has been replaced with a new system: FMOD.

1. Improved Client Stability by Replacing Outdated Sound Library

 1) The existing sound library used in Dekaron was outdated, which could cause the client to crash due to runtime errors during internal operations.

 2) By replacing the sound library, issues related to unexpected client crashes caused by the previous sound system have been addressed.

2. Fixed Temporary Client Freeze When Connecting or Disconnecting Earphones/Headsets

 1) Previously, in certain environments, connecting or disconnecting audio devices like earphones or headsets could cause the client to temporarily freeze.

     This issue has been resolved with the new sound library.

     ※ Client stability improvements will continue to be carried out regularly.

3. MP3 Player Support Added for 64-bit Client ( Next Maintenance )

 1) The MP3 player feature, which was removed during the 64-bit client support update, will be reinstated in the next maintenance.

[ How to Use the MP3 Player ]

 1) Save .mp3 files in the \music folder inside the Dekaron installation directory.

 2) You can listen to the MP3s in-game using the MP3 player feature.

 3) After launching the client, go to:

   Game Options (ESC) > Sound > Enable 'MP3 Player' checkbox

 4) Playback can be controlled directly through the MP3 Player UI.
