1. What is the pet system?
The pet system refers to a system in which a pet acquires dropped items without the character having to directly acquire (toggle) the items. It is also possible to set the level of the acquired item, so it is a system where you can select and acquire only the items you want.

(1) There are normal, rare, and unique pets.
- Normal grade: 1 grade option
- Rare grade: 2 grade options
- Unique grade: 3 grade options, unique skills
(2) Pet grade options are applied to the character only when the pet is summoned.
(3) You can obtain high-grade pet eggs with a probability through pet combination.
2. How to summon a pet

① Hatch an egg pet item by right-clicking on it.

② Install the hatched pet into the pet slot. You can summon a pet by equipping a pet item. (can be summoned with the T key)

③ When you start summoning a pet (T key), a waiting window will appear and the pet will be summoned when the waiting time expires.

④ To manage and manage pet inventory, combine soul chains, change acquired item grade settings, etc., click the pet management icon (or Y key) to open the pet information window.
3. Pet basic information window

The pet's usage time decreases from the time it hatches from an egg, and when you hover the mouse over the pet item, the pet's usage period is displayed through the item tooltip.
By default, the pet's usage period is set to 30 days, and pet items whose usage period has expired are placed in a sleeping state.
4. Soul Chain System

- The Soul Chain system is a function that changes the pet’s grade options, and can be changed up to 10 times.
- When attempting a Soul Chain, a certain amount of deal is consumed, and the option type and value are determined randomly.
※ You can move the pet for which Soul Chain will be performed to the pet inventory and then register it in the [Soul Chain] tab.
※ You can only move items to the pet inventory by selecting the [Basic Information] tab in the pet management window.
5. Pet combination system

This is a system where you acquire a new pet by combining two pets located in your pet inventory.
(When combined, a higher-grade pet has a chance to appear.)
※ Sleeping pets cannot be combined, and a certain amount of damage will be consumed when combined.
※ If you acquire a unique pet and combine it with a pet of a different grade, you can obtain a [Unique Pet Egg] with a 100% chance.
(Ex. Unique pet + Normal pet = Unique pet egg)
6. Pet socket system

- Pet sockets are created with a certain probability when a unique pet is hatched, and a pet-specific socket stone can be installed.

- Pet socket stones can be obtained through the [Pet Socket Machine] from the Alchemist NPC in Ardeca Village.
- Pet socket stones can be removed through the alchemist NPC in Ardeca Village.
7. Pet setting system

- The pet setting system allows you to set various functions of the pet.
- Item automatic acquisition function: You can turn on/off the function for your pet to automatically acquire items.
- Wearable item acquisition settings: Depending on the settings, you can distinguish wearable items and acquire them.
- Unwearable item acquisition settings: Depending on the settings, you can distinguish and acquire unwearable items.
8. Matters related to the pet system
- In order to use the pet inventory, change settings, and summon pet functions, a hatched pet item must be installed in the option slot window in the character inventory.
- Pet items in hatched state have a set period (lifespan) during which they can be used, and after this period, they change to sleeping state.
- Sleeping pets can be awakened to hatching state using Ocarina of Awakening/Ocarina of Eternity.
※ If the status is changed to hatching, 30 days or permanent lifespan will be given again.
※ In order to awaken a pet using Ocarina of Awakening or Ocarina of Eternity, a sleeping pet item must exist in the character inventory.
- You can have multiple eggs in your pet, but you can only have 10 hatched pets regardless of their type.
※ There are no restrictions on trading and selling eggs, but hatched and sleeping pets are bound and cannot be traded or sold.
- There may be areas where pets cannot be used.
